Sarah is a circus artist with over a decade of experience creating and performing internationally. With beginnings in Skadada aerial dance company, she has spanned many disciplines and now combines her love of clowning with physical theatre practices and fire dancing. Her background in theatre and writing complemented by her BA in Creative Writing and Performance studies from Curtin University, and further training in the Pochinko clowning technique at the Manitoulin Conservatory for Creation and Performance. Since she has toured Canada, Europe and recently performed as part of the inaugural Perth Circus Festival and the Western Australian Circus Festival. Her time with indigenous communities in Canada and Fiji deepens her cultural knowledge and informs her work in delivering social circus programs.
