Lynne Tinley has been a practicing artist for over 50 years. Marriage in 1965 to ecologist Ken Tinley led to a life in the African bush dedicated to saving wild places, and to drawing the wild animals around her. By 1984 when the family immigrated to Australia, Tinley had developed into an accomplished and innovative painter and printmaker.
She has to the present day had 25 solo art exhibitions in South Africa, Namibia, Mozambique and Australia and has taken part in many group shows. Her works are featured in private and public collections in the USA, UK, Germany, Portugal, Namibia, Mozambique, Brazil, South Africa, and Australia. Tinley taught drawing for twenty years at Fremantle Art Centre and Claremont School of Art. |
