Ken Tinley’s art has been in the field of land-use education. Ken has the ability to ‘read the land’ and with the aid of aerial photography and over-lay diagrams he is able to teach the people who live and work on the land how to read the patterns, processes and relationships of their country.
As a proficient draughtsman he makes maps and diagrams to illustrate his scientific publications and to elucidate data. These have mostly been hand drawn as computers were not generally available when Ken was at the height of his career. Ken has a DSc in Land-use Ecology and Wildlife Management. He has completed a Permaculture Design Course. |
