SHAC Member's Art Practice - Fiona Gavino

FIONA GAVINO has been involved professionally with the visual arts for many years, she is nationally recognised in her field as a fibre artist. Fiona has worked at the Berndt Museum at the University of Western Australia as Collections Relocation Manager and currently two days a week with Art On The Move as the Professional Development Officer.
Fiona was also the recipient of a 2014 Asialink Residency to the Philippines from Melbourne University. In 2015 Gavino curated Yirrkala Drawings: Works on Paper Barks Sculpture as a guest curator for the Berndt Museum as part of the Perth International Art Festival. |
