SHACC Colab 2

Gallery and Workshop

Over the past 6 years numerous artist and creatives (both established and emerging) have shown their work in Colab 2, SHACC’s gallery space. 

 

This space is a bright high ceiling and L- shaped room equipped with a wash sink kitchenette/fridge and bathroom. A north-facing balcony has become a print studio with press and working benches.  Colab2 is on the first floor and has no wheelchair access at present.

CoLab 2 is a vibrant art gallery and creative space available for hire in the WGV precinct of Fremantle. Open to all artists, creatives, and community members, it provides a welcoming venue for exhibitions, workshops, and small-scale events.

The gallery is managed by established Fremantle visual artists Lee Marshall and Lynne Tinley, who offer professional support with art handling, installation, and curatorial guidance.

CoLab 2 features:

  • A light-filled gallery space located on the second floor, with a private balcony

  • Capacity for up to 50 people

  • Flexible hire options: by the hour, half-day, full-day, or for week-long exhibitions and even

 

This contemporary venue is ideal for showcasing work, hosting creative gatherings, and connecting with Fremantle’s dynamic arts community, and is available between the hours of 11am – 4pm.

Fee includes:

  • The gallery space

  • Installation help if required (with our experienced curator and installer) we direct fix to the walls to ensure your work is professionally presented.  Art handling, installation and curatorial advice

  • Exhibition launch opening night assistance

  • Wine glasses/flutes/beer/water glasses, a small collection of food platters supplied

  • Assistance with signage for the walls

  • Email mail out to SHACC mailing list

  • Listing/feature on the SHACC website (www.shacfreo.com)

  • Local press listings

  • Access to professional photography documentation of your exhibition , price on application

  • Additional promotions by the artists exhibiting, is also major contributing factor for a successful exhibition.
